I love that book!its my fave jw book!Somethung like that happened to me my bff fell out with me and we kind of driftd apart but now ive got a new best friend.
I already own the book and I’ve watched the TV series on CITV. I’d find it heartbreaking if my best friend went to a different country. I live in Scotland so if Alice was real I might have met her by now! I’d LOVE that! What character would you most like to meet? I’d LOVE to meet Jodie from My Sister Jodie.
@ Bryony. That’s a tough question! I think I would like to meet Lottie because she could tell me all about what it’s like living in Victorian times. I would have so many questions to ask her!!

I have not read Best Friends yet, but I am going to read it during the Summer Holidays! Red, I think you should have a Poll of what JW Book has the best Characters in. I think that would be really cool, and everyone would enjoy voting!

@ Elana. It’s really sad when a best friend moves away but you can still be besties. Keep in touch by calling each other, writing letters or emailing. Maybe you can also visit each other in the school holidays if you don’t live too far apart? Does anyone else have some good advice for Elana?

me and my best friend are really close we live down the road from each other and we do everything together! nothing will ever come between us im sooo glad u wrote best friends i think it was a really good book. we had a sleepover last week we played and talked all night it was only me and my bff because we are both homeschooled together i wonder if jacky could write a book about being homeschooled i would be over the moon.

hey. I read best friends in yr 5. (in yr 7 now) it was the second jw book I had read. (double act first) I personally think Gemma is a role model in a way. Loving her friend so much she tries to run way with her etc etc but my fav book has to be Hetty Feather or Little Darlings! They are my desktop wallpaper xx
My favourite bit of the book was when gemma put the cake into the girl’s face!!

I love the book Best Friends.It was the book fair at school and me and my BF were getting different JW books each so we could borrow them. But from the moment we saw the copy of Best Friends we knew we had to have on each.So now if we have any problems(which hardly ever happens) we look at the book to help us. Whats your favourite JW book Kez??
I have read that book to and its AMAZING to be honest! I’m glad that Jacqueline made that book! its great fun! I would like to know if Jacqueline can manage a book signing at Peterborough in England? I would LOVE to meet her it would be a dream come true!

Summer Reading – it’s the Best!
I think Summer Reading IS the Best because you can read what you like, and even buy some NEW books! I, for one, am going to buy Best Friends, and read it in the Summer Holidays!

@ Philippa. I don’t really have a best friend – just a small group of close friends. It’s really sad when a friend moves away, isn’t it? But you can keep in touch with her and maybe in time you’ll make some new friends at school.

I have read Best Friends a while ago.But I remember it.I think it was a brilliant book.Now we are in the summer hoildays it is hard for me like Gemma and Alice because I live in Newport (Wales) while my friends live in Cardiff(Wales.)Sadly I have not got their phone numbers so I can not speak to them but I have got my Jacqueline Wilson mag and her books so that will keep me happy!
What is the point of reading Best Friends online when Jacqueline Wilson wrote it as a book. So you don’t really need to put in online.
